You may find that the hydra will blow up your stations as fast as they are completed creating a resource sink…for you Don’t forget to trade with the other factions. That can keep them from really targeting you while you deal with the aliens and their minions. Sure, eventually they’ll almost all turn against you but…to every thing there is a season. Hopefully eventually it will be a chew bubblegum and kick alien ass season!

I still think the #1 thing you should "between episodes" is to build a shit-ton of T1 solar panels, which I don't believe cost any aluminum. Yes, you probably need 4x as many as T2 solar panels, but for no rare materials, I would have built like 30 of them a long time ago

I played so much of 3rd and 4th game, Tropico 5 dropped a lot in quality and really economy was broken along side resources political system was also utter trash, BUT with all its problems it was actually very good game. Now Tropico 3 and 4 had problems with gameplay in terms of resources and buildings however that didn't stop them from being two best games in the series, 3rd one is by far better of the two sole reason are missions, that were created with such care and precision that you couldn't skip or hate some of them, THEY were all perfect made scenarios, while Tropico 4 holds its place with new buildings, mechanics and customization, i would like for the mo either remake them or even better remake them inside the Tropico 6 which would i think put Tropico 6 in very strong position to be best game in the series because Tropico 6 only lacks in missions that have no soul besides like 5/6 of them, also tourism in Tropico 4 was best Tourism you'll ever find in Tropico games, Covid mission (maybe T3) and tourism missions in Tropico 4 were one of the best missions in the series. Tropico 6 is lacking so much, but it has Best Sandbox.

I wish I was able to join the stream as I was yelling at my screen at times. The last energy labs you placed on the station were extreme earth orbit and won't work. Also please build the skunkworks. Amazing series but I need to catch the next live stream.

I don't think he's reading these but for anyone else curious (skip if you don't want spoilers), at one point he notices he doesn't have enough uranium to make a rod for a reactor, but do you know what he does have? A rocket platform and the materials to make a rocket that will not only multiply his heat or pressure generation, but also attract meteors with uranium or iridium in them!

smithing is also good for metal tiles they have a clean bonus plus faster to clean up messes

I know you are avoiding spoilers but I started after you and kinda no life the game. Here to inform you that your base IS safe from the water, even if just barely. I built at a similar height.

I use my biodome for storing some food growing tubes.

When you built all those stations at Mercury you massively increased how threatening you seem to the aliens.

I've seen so many people go crazy about the biomass too early. Quill is right to think of the heat, but I also believe the best way to get better heat is to unlock the next tier heaters through Oxygen generation.

You can place stuff in the Biodome, like storage and food growers (along the windows), saving materials and space for compartments.

Your Big 3 multipliers (Oxygen, Pressure and Heat) are the most import things to focus on in this stage of the game; they will unlock the most stuff for you.

Pretty sure you could give basic first aid where the guy landed then carry him in.

Don't ignore the rockets that give a 1000% bonus to things. That's a 10x increase that stacks with other rockets

you can stack defend interests btw, i've been getting it up 1 or 2 years ahead and not worry about it for a bit.

I wonder when quill is going to realize that the first two rockets give a 1000% multiplier to heat and pressure. And iridium/uranium on top! GPS satellites are nice to map out PoIs but not really required yet

I know you recorded several in advance, so I just have to hope you realize that you should probably be upping your Pressure output (well, all the things really, but your Pressure is lagging behind and it unlocks a lot of GOOD stuff).

God this game was so well made, plus it’s actually hard unlike the later titles lol

what i like to do is one mobile science lab and one platform kit. once it's there i pop the platform add a dock and a construction module and then start surveying. once the surveys are done the dock can replace the used module and once the construction one is done you can easily spam all the sites before anyone else gets a chance 😂

I wish the input/output buttons on the screens were consistent. Was annoying seeing input on the left side for crafting machines, then on the right side for things like power and research.
